Prepared

We've been so busy these past 2 weeks. Nick's R&R has flown by and I can't believe he's going back into work tomorrow! We went to Disneyland with my parents, cleaned the house top to bottom, officially listed the home for rent, drove up to Mt. Lemmon, had two movie days at home, and attended an awesome air show! In between all of that I've been searching for homes online and going over our best options. Nick has been looking over the hiring package from his new job and making lots of phone calls to all sorts of different people. We're also preparing to head to Colorado at the end of the week to find our new home. Hectic? Yes. Wishing I were doing something else? Not at all!

I feel ready for the challenges ahead; not because of my strength, but because of His. The human part of me wants to get bogged down with the details and consumed by the desires to please my materialistic tendencies. But God, in His goodness, has given me an escape from that. Every time I open my Bible and do my daily lesson I find constant reminders and encouragement to set this world aside and focus on Him. He gives me the words I need to live - always prepared.
