The notes on this section suggested that when we come to God in prayer or conversation we should either write down our requests or say them out loud. By doing this we are better able to acknowledge His part in answering our prayers. He already knows what I want to ask; He wants me to know what I am asking for my own sake. In this I give Him proper credit and my faith grows realizing He is intimately involved in my life. He cares about what I care about, so I'm going to tell Him.
Jesus, my daughter can't speak. You know the reason. You know everything about her. Lord, please heal her. Please use the same power that overcame death to create new life in Brecken. Help her to talk, to walk with ease, and to be able to use a pencil and utensils like any other kid her age. I thank You for the progress we see every day. I thank you for gifting me with the most beautiful, sweet, precious daughter. As much as I love her, I know You love her even more. Breathe on her Your breath of life so that every one will know that You are God. All for Your glory. Amen!
